uh ok yeah so im pretty dissapointed with you guys! i see threads for dragon age, assassins creed 2, etc but not one for the most important game of this quarter, which is uncharted 2

Uncharted 2 is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective, with the player in control of Nathan Drake. Drake is physically adept and is able to jump, climb, and scale narrow ledges and wall faces to get between points. Drake can be equipped with up to two firearms – one single-handed and one two-handed – and a limited supply of grenades. Drake can pick up weapons, automatically replacing the existing weapon he was using, and additional ammunition from killed foes. The player can direct Drake to take cover behind corners or low walls using either aimed or blind-fire to kill his enemies. The player can also have Drake fire while moving. If Drake is undetected by his enemies, the player can attempt to use stealth to take them out, such as by sneaking up behind them to knock them out with one hit, or by pulling an unsuspecting foe over a ledge from which Drake is hanging.[7] Some areas of the game require the player to solve puzzles with the use of Drake's journal, which provides clues towards the puzzles' solutions. When enabled, a hint system provides gameplay clues, such as the direction of the next objective.

Throughout the game are special treasures that may be hidden or in difficult-to-reach places that the player can collect. Collecting these treasures, along with completing certain feats within the game, is tracked by the awarding of medals, which gives the player in-game money to use to unlock extra content on the disc, including concept art, game movies, and game cheats such as guns with infinite ammunition. The statistics tracked for a large portion of the of the in-game medals is are also used to award PlayStation 3 trophies.

Basically this game picks up where it left off in the first one, but not so much that youd need to play the first one to get everything plot wise. The intro is right out of a movie scene, and you are suddenly thrown into Nathan's (the main character) chaos on a shattered train cart, which is slowly falling into an abyss. That had me hooked right there.

From there on as you advance the plot thickens and draws you into the game more and more. The voice acting is INCREDIBLE; I dont think I have ever heard a voice cast this great in a video game. The visuals, as well, are engrossing. On HD this game looks simply wonderful, you feel as if you are playing a movie. The soundtrack is a mass full of symphony and epic, fast paced themes, which fit the mood just right and keep you in tune.

the gameplay has been altered for the better too. Enemies now take less time to kill, rather than having to dead on get headshots in the first one (well, you dont HAVE to buttttt). The melee combat is a tad simplistic, however, but besides that the controls and interface of the weapons is top notch.

The first publication to review Uncharted 2 was the French edition of PSM3. In their review, they called the game "Long, visually stunning, deep and explosive, Uncharted 2 combines all the qualities you can find in a videogame, and more! A new milestone has been reached in the videogame history." so yeah, if you havent played this go drop whatever game you have now and get this, chances are its BETTER

nah, jk, but seriously check this out! If you havent played the first one or just want a new ps3 game get this, you wont be dissapointed.

its going to be at least 2 years before we see new uncharted game. I still need to pick this up but theres been something holding me back... i dont know why.. i really did enjoy the first one

lol yeah i know i was just kidding. i dont know whats holding you back dude, go buy!! gooo!! Its twice as good as the first one and im not just saying that. If you enjoyed the first youll absolutely love the second.

2 things actually annoy me about this game.

1) They recycled the random enemy voices. "HE'S OVER HERE!!!" "OVER THERE!!" "HE'S OVER THERE!!" Like, obviously the game was not made lazily, but those voices are just annoying to me.

2) The "skeleton" armored guys (mainly just the chaingun ones). They are insanely unrealistic. Armored guys are great, but not ones that require 4 weapon pickups to kill.

Other than that, I <3 this game with every fiber of my being.

I quite liked how the skeleton armoured guy were harder to kill, especially when you got into close combat with 'em, that was fun, lol...

And also about...

Those guys in the Yeti suits, well I think it WAS annoying that they were hard, but it definitely made it more challenging, and you could two hit them if you picked up a golden crossbow that they drop, the problem is, they reload REALLY slow...

Pick up those crossbows, just give them 2-3 headshots and there done for.

I really love this game, everythignis way beter then in the original, even the story is better!
What i didn't liked was the fat this game i 10x easier then the fist one, I flew trough hard without any problemes..
And i'm doing crushing right now to and again, REALLY easie compared to the first game!
