unable to start RPG VX

hey guys, my friend has a weird problem and asked me,

he installed RPG maker VX to his PC 4 days ago, but suddenly after complete installation of the pack he told me can't open the maker but he can run the game...

he doesn't have an internet connection yet so this is the weird problem he gets whenever he tries to open an RPG Maker VX

every time he opens it this one appears:

"Failed to load Trial from nTitles Server"

i didn't know what it meant but i think this was also the problem my classm8 experienced when he used RPG maker XP, since he also doesn't have an internet net  :dead:

how do we solve this?  :crazy:

There's the problem.  You require an internet connection when you first start the program.

okay but that was weird, i thought VX doesn't need net connections? but what if he registers it with net then suddenly disconnects the internet? what will happen then? will it still run? man it's gonna take him days before he gets a broadband internet here :lol:

That's the same message that occurs when trying to run XP on Windows Vista.  VX should be compatible with Vista, so it sounds like it'll need to connect to the internet to run the first time.

but the errors appears at windows XP os service pack 2, not vista

You just need the internet when you are first starting up the program and when you go to register it.  After that, you don't need the internet.
