I think your doing a good a good job, one thing that bothers me is the hair on the side view and back view, it just doesn't match the frontal look, on the side his hair looks like it's split from the side rather than the middle, and on the back view it needs to be thicker, hope that helps some

EDIT: Also, if you want the green stripes to show more you should either make the shade darker or the shirt.

thanks, this is my first original sprite in a very long time. The hair is kinda confusing me, it's supposed to be dreadlocks, which isn't a very uniform hairstyle. The front view doesn't look right, I have to re-do it. Right now I'm watching my neighbors kids though so I'll have to work on it later. I haven't slept yet either so I don't know if I'll get to it today.

Yeah hair is tough, i've been spriting for a while and i still have probs with certain hair styles.
