Two Tracks that could use some opinion on.

Okay these are both tracks for Final Fantasy: Zero. I did not create them myself but my musical guy did, I just thought I'd get an opinion of what other people beyond the general FFZero circle thought of them and if you thought they were fitting.

CURSE OF THE IMMORTAL is a track for a character who has lived for over 2000 years and quite frankly is sick of seeing everyone around him whither away and die, those he loved especially. Such a torment has irrevocably changed him and turned him to doing less than savory things in order to achieve certain goals.

NOSTALGIA is a track for those fond childhood memories that characters can look back on when they want to describe their pasts. I figure it can be used in both cut-scenes or if you had the player control the character in the past.

Please give your opinions and also, please be gentle, this is the first time I'm posting this guy's music on here.

Curse: a little predictable. I keep seeing Nick Cage (City of Angels). The "voices" track is too loud. It needs to be blended with the piano better. Same with the strings.
Nostalgia: The wind (white noise) moves around too much. settle it down a little. (not so far left & right, and maybe slower). Good balance between piano & (Marimba?)

Both have cool, simple melodies & capture the intended emotion. Curse could be darker (think Danny Elfman), but subtle is good too.

Be Well
