If you're trying to start a discussion about the book, there are better ways to go about it than to just say "hey, and what's the deal with x? I don't get it!"

I've never understood the draw to shitty vampire romance novels. I've never understood the draw to pouty scene boys. To me it's a perfect cross-section of why 13-year-old girls suck so bad. I wouldn't recommend the series to anyone of the male gender or any girl who's actually been in a decent relationship or is over the age of 15.
