Of course, he doesn't try to do good in school, so it's unclear if he would be able to get more than a B average. Despite Nick's obvious shortcomings, he likes to engage in absurd and rather superfluous arguements that would warp the minds of normal men. He likes video games a lot too.

Lyle, Ram, Ben, and Nick are four kids enrolled at Oakwood Highschool For Boys. School uniforms, rather frightening 'positive' reenforcement posters, and a disturbing lack of windows are but some questionable qualities of the school. However, they manage to take it in stride despite the obvious aggravation of highschool. Some, more than others.
Lyle begins to get a tad more annoyed than usual, and claims that something good is going to happen to them for a change. Nick agrees by telling Lyle of a super secret (Not really) video game that he, Ram, and Ben are making together. He asks if Lyle wants to be an early tester. Lyle agrees, and Nick tells him to be at his house on Sunday.
Nick, Ram, and Ben are tweaking the game at Nick's house, just as Lyle shows up. Lyle can't wait to play the game, but before he can, the power fails and shuts down everything in Nick's house. Unfortunate circumstance turns into paranormal phenomenon, as the lights click back on, and Nick, Lyle, Ram, and Ben discover a swirling vortex in the center of the room. While all are a little bit shaken from a large vortex suddenly appearing for no real reason whatsoever, Nick recovers from the shock the quickest. He decides to jump in an explore it 'for science', although really he just hopes it leads to an alternate universe resembling that of a fantasy game.
Nick attempts to explain his desire to see the other side of the portal to Ben and Ram, but can't exactly put it into words. So, before the logical thinking Ben and Ram can stop him, Nick jumps in with a "BRB!" and dissappears into the swirling nether. Ram and Ben figure that there is an almost definite chance of Nick being unable to return (whether dead or otherwise) and think to call someone for help. Lyle, while still stunned at everything that has just happened over the course of five minutes, thinks that if he is to help out, he should go after Nick. Before Ben can talk some sense into him, Lyle jumps into the portal, scolding at Ram and Ben's reluctance to enter the portal by shouting, "SCREW YOU GUYS!"
Lyle awakes on what appears to be some sort of forest, dazed, and confused about his sudden change of clothes. As if that doesn't take the cake, there's no sign of Nick, Ram, Ben, or even the portal he just hopped into.
After assesing his situation, Lyle figures that he should probably find Nick, and maybe have an adventure along the way. Queue music.
