Twilight Dreams

Story:
In Twilight Dreams, you play as Skyus Moonshadow, a cold-hearted, ex-bounty hunter. In the game you will be able to travel in and out of the spirit world, known as Twilight Islands, while battling vicious creatures known as Inferi. Skyus will battle his way through both worlds, real and spirit, while learning of his destiny.
Story of Twilight Islands:
Twilight Islands is the home of all spirits, good and bad. Twilight Islands was created from the dreams of the first four divine spirits. A new spirit is created every time a dream is had on the real world, if it's good it will be a good spirit and if it's a nightmare the spirit will become a Dark One, the major evil on Twilight Islands. Some people can have both a dream and a nightmare and have them both turn into a spirit on Twilight Islands, meaning they would have a good and a bad spirit on Twilight Islands.


Characters:
Skyus Moonshadow
Skyus has the main role in the game... Skyus plays off the act of a cold-hearted, ex-bounty hunter, but when Rana Heart falls into his life, Skyus's mood changes. Skyus isn't the kind of guy to question destiny, but when he learns of his wildly specific destiny, he can't help but wonder "why me?". In the spirit world, Skyus is known as Skyus the Brave...

Rana Heart
Rana Heart, second in command in the game. In the spirit world, Rana is known as Rana the Dreamer. Rana seems adventurous and free spirited, but is it just a rouse? Rana has an intense love of flowers and fun.

Kade Wind
Kade Wind, a wise historian, plays a big role in Twilight Dreams. Kade used to study at the Coram castle as a scholar to King Angelo, king of Coram, but left in seek of more knowledge. Kade is known as Kade the Wise in the spirit world.

Dark Ones
Dark Ones are the nightmares of Twilight Islands. They are cursed to live in the shadows of the spirit world, never will they be able to walk on divine land.

This is a finished project. It does have many grammar errors, but to me this is only a rough draft so to speak. I plan on re-making this game in college, and I will fix those problems then. Finally got it uploaded...

it's having some difficulties uploading... I have tried 3 sites (rapidshare, mediafire, and megaupload) and it would upload 50% and then stop... I'm still trying to get it uploaded... Hopefully by today you will be able to play it^^

i don't know about Darren Shan's novel, and I have read Harry Potter, but I used a translator and translated "dead spirits" or something(It's been a while since I named these creatures) and out popped the name Inferi...

Also, every upload site I try to use to upload stops at around 48%-50%, any ideas?

Actually, this looks pretty darn good.

It's downloading. Can't wait to play, I just hope the game is as good as it looks.

I love a good story, no matter how cliche :D

It opened on the screen saying you have requested this d/l, but the link was not working.

I closed it, and reopened it up again and it says I have to wait another 3 hours to download the game.

Upload it to megashare or something please.

i'll upload later today... i recently reset my computer to factory defaults, so I lost the original file so give me time to download the game again(for some reason it's working for me O_o) and I'll re-upload to a few new places...

Sorry, but this game is absolutely CRAWLING with bugs and glitches.

I went in this building when you play as the hooded figure, and all of a sudden, I was attacked by skeletons. My bow did nothing and when I tried to run away, a purple haired dude said: We need to save Rana.

So I ended up dying.

Then I tried to go in the inn, and then it transported me to this weird place, where a girl in a pink dress told me to follow her, and the purple haired dude started talking.
I had 2 companions following me too.

So I followed her, and she walked up a house wall, so I went in. Then these two hooded figures were like: Lets set our minions on him.

Then in the house, everyone was like !! from a rawr sound. So I just went menu and escaped :D

Seriously, fix it up. I've only been playing for 3 minutes and I've come across more than what I've told you.

EDIT: And I couldn't save because it didn't have a savetimer graphic. I had t make my own and put it in the pictures folder just to save.

huh... i didn't have any of those glitches when I tested it... and the skeletons aren't supposed to be fightable until a little later in the game... I'll test it out again...

I see what happened... i'll fix it later today, I'll have to re-dl rmvx because I recently reset my computer to factory defaults and lost the program...

create a new folder in graphics called "Pictures" and save the above file as "Save Timer"

and when playing as the hooded figure (or any character), do not go in any building that you are not instructed to go in... There is a problem that I created when I used the quick event maker thingy to make the doors. You are mainly playing outside, but every now and then you will have to follow someone into a building...

please remember that this is my rough draft to help me remember the plot of the game for when I remake it in college as a demo for my profession. I will not be able to fix any errors because my computer crashed a few days ago and I lost rpgmaker vx, and all I have is the original editable draft and the file I uploaded...

So, save often and if you have any other errors, I'll help you get through it... I just want to know if the story is any good...
