Trouble in Fontland.

Hey, I just recently installed a certain font, and no matter what I do, it just isn't working! Nothing is appearing! I know my meathod is correct because if I try one of the other fonts that came with windows, they appear just fine. Please help, thanks in advance!^_^

btw, this is the font I'm using.

Try using the font in notepad or wordpad to see if it's not corrupt. There are many fonts out there that can be corrupted upon zipping or other means of creating etc etc.

If it doesn't work in those programs, Try downloading the font from another website. If that still gives you issues, Use another font or report the file as "a broken link" to the admin of the site(s). I'm sure that the people that run these sites don't give EVERY font they host a run through, And it could be a simple mistake that can be fixed by the author

Also make sure you are naming it exactly as it should be. If you aren't setting it correctly, no font will appear and not an error.

I'm not completely sure about it but it doesn't like to load TrueTypeFonts. On my pc as well at least any true type font(*.ttf) doesn't display. However any open type font(*.otf) works fine. If you're dead set on the font and no one else has a remedy for the situation visit http://fontforge.sourceforge.net/. You'll need cygwin but supposedly it'll be able to convert it for you for free.

It works, I used it in my request, I'm even typing it exactly as it appears, I've even gone into an editor, changed the name so I know EXACTLY how it's typed, and still no cigar....maybe I'll try converting it like khmp said.

Is it the name used in to font folder? Or the name of the file that you downloaded. You'll need the the name that it displays in root:/Windows/Fonts/

I know that. I'm copying directly what it says in the font folder. lol.

I'm surprised, the truetype fonts are just a bunch of crap if you are trying to use them in rmxp...
