Triggering a switch when killing an enemy

This is probably a really stupid question but oh well.
I'm using Mr.Mo's SBABS and I need to make it so that when I kill an enemy it triggers a switch. This seems like something that'll be really simple and obvious but I can't figure it out lol.

The more specific your thread title the better.
 
I'd suggest moving this to the rgss forum, mainly because those who are using his script will know how to trigger a switch once an enemy is defeated. Since the script is not default to rmxp, it may need a small script code to do it. It's worth a try anyways.
 
You can do this without scripting (although it may be easier with a script.)
Go into the database and at the bottom of the page at the troops section you will see an event page, you can set it so that when an enemy is killed a switch turns on, you have to do this for each troop where you want the switch to turn on and the event page works just like the normal event page out of battle, I think there may be something about in battle events in the tutorial section.
