Trends/games growing up

My friends and I used to role play DBZ all the time... we also used to collect Digimon cards like crazy.  A few of my friends and I got this idea where every time one of us got money, we would go and buy Digimon cards and throw them in this bucket at our friend's house, so we could all jointly own all Digimon cards ever known to man.  Before this certain friend moved away (with ALL of the cards), we had over a thousand cards... it was cool until the bastard stole them. >:[

I also remember when Star Wars Episode I came out, they had all of those collectible Pepsi cans with all of the characters from the movie on them... and I collected them all! >:]  I don't think anyone else really cared, but oh well.

Also, hopscotch was awesome.

This wasn't that long ago, but when I was at an art college the student housing would have game night which consisted of DDR and halo.
But now 3 years later it seems like DDR has been replaced by Guitar hero and Halo is Halo 2!

We also had LAN parties were everyone connected their computers and played Diablo 2. They had 2 hours to level up their characters from scratch and then fight each other in a battle royal. When they got around to fighting each other the power went out! So I guess the guy whose lap top was running on a battery won.

There really wasn't much where I live except for a drink people would make if they had the right "ingredients". It was called Suicide and was essentially everything that was a liquid and that could put into a small styrofoam cup short of our bodily fluids. It was a totally badass thing to do it, and it usually made people sick afterwords. It was banned at one point in our school, but kids would do it anyways when no teachers were looking. If you were lucky, it was just a bunch of random soft drinks mixed with milk. At worst, it could be chocolate milk mixed with coke and ramen broth with a few drops of toilet water added (the no bodily fluids rule was taken to extreme measures, so this was the worst it could get).

The worst part was, you agreed to drink a Suicide, and then the drink was made by your 'friends'. Then you were given one last valid chance to chicken out. If you agreed to drink it after that, you HAD to drink the whole thing. The styrofoam cups we used were like the size of 1 1/2 milk pints, so it wasn't much to drink. still if you refused, people would hold you down and force it down your throat (although this kinda stopped after the teachers heard about the drink).
