Title Screen (Any Good?)

It would probably look cooler with some kinda background but reguardless of simplicity, it does look awesome :thumb:

If you don't mind, what font are you using?

I think it looks horrible. I understand the look you are trying to achieve, but you just didn't execute it right. Your poor use of crappy gradients and styles shows you really don't know much about graphic design. Read some tutorials on executing "techy" graphics, they're all over the place.

I'm not good at graphic design. This I know. But to be honest I thought it looked decent. Anyway, unless someone makes it better I'm stickinh with it :thumb:

That font is too hard to read use a different font and I would photoshop over fireworks mainly for the text affects. What is your game about? Maybe you should use some text effects to give players a slight glimpse into what the game will present.

I'm confused but curious. What do you mean by using text effects to give players a slight glimpse of the game.
And if you seriously want to know what the game is about go to my topic either here or rpgmakervx forums.

That looks great. I'll see what I can come up with but I don't have Photoshop so I'll have to try with fireworks

Do people think this title screen is any good. I made it with Adobe Fireworks and its made for MOG's Title Screen Miria. I made all the images apart from the character in the middle which was made by DollMage.

Criticisim and ideas?
I think logo and its effects looks pretty fine, but It still reamins horrible because you put the wrong picture. Cease that sprite and put somewhat cool symbol or graphic instead

P.S :: Glowing aroudn the 'new game' text looks really horrible aswell. try to fix smaller and nice
        glow.

Ok I will make the glow smaller. If you're not familiar with MOG's Title Screen: New Game, Continue and Exit all glow when selected. Just so you know  :straightthumb:

I am really familiar with MOG scripts
I already use MOG MPQ EQUIP and MOG Map Name Script and I have all of mog script
I also have mog title scripts and also tried them.

In past years, my game used MOG title script and I know this uses mog title script.
and more goddamn crits here :
I said title should show something about game.
but your title screen is not in that way. Text eats up most part of the screen
Usually, game titles have background pictures that shows about game

Try to distinguish the game title from the menu choices. Right now it seems like another choice. Make it stand out-making a logo isn't hard, really.
