The textures on the wood and the bed cloth are not bad but there is no sense of depth or perspective, it's far too boxy. The beds look too much like boxes with a painted surface on top.

But what bothers me the most i think is the flooring texture. It's entirely off centered and does not mesh well at all, look at the lines in the wood, they scatter about and don't line up at all, and then there's that thicker brown line where you you've outlined the top and bottom. Always remember that these things tile, so when they lay down edges like that will look off kilter.

It's a good start but in my personal opinion there's allot of room for improvement. Keep working hard.

Too many values in the shading. There should be Midtone Shadow and Outline only for gRTP. In some cases you can add a highlight (like metal) or a second shadow tone if needed.

The shadow under the table doesn't look like a shadow but almost a glow haze, it's too light.

And if those are pillows on the bed lay them on or under the sheets of the bed, as it is now they look like headboard designs instead of pillows.

Just add some more things to it like windows, book shelf, and the common things or more and it'll be much better.

@tana: Is a second shadow shade OK for the wood table?

Zalzer, most woods have almost no texture at all in lineart. Just make a rectangle, fill it with a colour, and draw a bit of grain with a shade colour. That is about all you need.

If possible, it would be way better if the outside was black, not brown, and perhaps there was just a brown border.

I'm not sure if you know what I mean by that, but take the RTP sets for example.
