Greetings, fellow members of HBGames. I hope that when this finally gets posted it is still Boxing Day - i.e. the day we boxxed EVIL SANTA to the death good and proper and forever. I talk to you from my home, where I have been returned after spending the past few days chained up in EVIL SANTA's dungeon. He made me wear a really short skirt and a pink ribbon in my hair and other things which are only too horrible to imagine, I'm sure. And then he touched me.
The important part is we got through it, and we are here now... to continue... as a community.
Thank you for your tacky Christmassy talk and shit but mostly thanks to my sis because she bought me Lego!! !!! !

I am frankly amazed to be honest, you've all done a smashing job this week considering it is Christmas (a time when we're normally rather quiet). Ok so I tried with the EVIL SANTA nonsense, but even without that, what a week!

I am a tad biased towards Ninja Penguin, by Jaberwocky. While not a new game, the thread has been updated. What I once saw as a lolrandomxD project turned out to be quite good - myself I'm impressed but check it out yourself.
UWE has written a really good topic about creating Design Documents and why they are important. Great topic, UWE!
Metatron wants to discuss underlying themes in RPGs and which you'd like to see or not see.
Finally Cait has created a topic discussing the best way of going about the dungeon mechanic - what makes a good, fun but challenging dungeon tick?
The official 5 year anniversary contest draws to an end soon! I'm high in anticipation for some of the games - nice work folks, and nice turnout (hopefully!)
