Selling a joke with a free wow account does not work. I've seen it done many times; all that happens is both accounts are banned anyway (as it is still illegal to GIVE AN ACCOUNT TO SOMEBODY ELSE, regardless of whether it is for money or not).

Oh wait.. :P Also I don't think the whole joke selling thing is necessary with WoW Accounts, Blizzard have 10 million accounts (Maybe more now?). They aren't particularly bothered if you sell one as if keeps money flowing in for them.

Xaixis if you are this paranoid about your address and stuff you should probably avoid selling shit on the internet or next time you want to sell a item like a WoW Account use a site that deals in that sort of thing (google it, there are plenty) and that way its more likely going to be safer.

The point of this thread is that he's worried about somebody trying to buy something off him. The thing in question is a WoW account, I presume, since he said it's right under our noses and it's right there in big text in his sig. I was posting a comment based on this.


Anyway. I've had many friends lose their WoW and RS accounts by selling them on websites such as eBay, or account trading websites. They do care, for whatever their reasons are.

Well when we went to the bank the guy said that it is a common scam. The check is real but it could turn out that when it gets through to the other side there is no money so you owe the bank 850 bucks. But your so excited about the extra money you give away your gift and buy shit with the extra money. Then a week later the bank says the check is void and you owe them 850 bucks. So I'm waiting for the confirmation but I am 99.99% sure that its gana come out as fraud.

I wanted to say this to also help out other fourm members if they do these kinds of transactions.

Oh and sorry Des, I would, really I would, but I need the money for my laptop. My old computer fried out during a storm (WITH A SURGE PROTECTOR) so now I like use my dads old laptop when hes home or use the extreamly slow family computer for my internet needs. So sorry man, but I need all the cash I can get not to sound greedy.
