lol, this game is freaking hiliarious. I like it, its very different and very entertaining. My fav and funny one was the little boy and girl chasing each other. That and the boat man who gets freakin pissed lol. I still haven't finished the game but i just had to let you know this game rocks! keep it up.

Sorry I haven't updated this in forever. I've made progress on it, but I've just been really busy with school and stuff. I don't know if I can honestly make another release until next summer unfortunately, but the next release should be the complete game. Hopefully all interest won't be lost before then.

I just got VX and this is first game i got for it. And i think im never going back to XP! This game is the best ever!!I hope you make a second one. If you dont mind me asking, how the hell did you come up with this! You must have the bigggest imagination..

Edit: i would so laugh if he got his Wii and Mario brawl was taken off him straight after lol Hope you finish it.

I was just playing around with VX and I thought it would be funny to see the hero be the sprite that Brabantio was. Then I had just gotten a Wii and was simultaneously thinking about how much Spiderman 3 sucked and the rest was history...

LOL all that made this game?? god...you got to make more games..i especially love the idea of a funny game with puzzels in it. I personally think those other games with more detailed stories and boring.. im one of those guys who just wants to play a game and have a laugh and not sit there reading bout it.
Anyway, i reckon your a good game maker and hope to play more.

Well, thanks a lot for your comments. I completely agree that detailed fantasy bullshit is boring. That was part of what got me to make this. For some reason it's uncommon for people to make RPGMaker games with simple premises. I haven't given up on this game, but I don't see myself continuing work on it until this summer unfortunately. Maybe I'll make some really short game in the meantime but I can't make promises. I've been really busy with school, life, etc.

To do the tower thingy I just had a parallel event that was constantly changing the screen tone. I just sent you a PM soranthus, but basically I can't promise much unfortunately. I've been quite busy with stuff but I really do want to finish it. I've got the rest of the game in my head, but it may not be done until the summer... but who knows?

I hope people still care about this, because I'm finally starting to work on it again. I went back to it and I realized that I don't like a lot of the dialogue I wrote so I'm revamping a lot of it for the better. Eventually I'll go back and fix the first page of this topic but right now I'm just writing to say that this isn't dead. I have the sequel concept pretty well formulated so I'm eager to get this done just to work on that. I have exams over the next two weeks so I can't promise much right now, but yeah.

It's a very humorous game It made me laugh in the sense that the characters were genuinely funny and interesting. The mapping is a little redundant in some parts, but I've seen worse. The title screen, however, needs major work. It looks rushed. Mainly, the characters on both sides are strangely positioned and the title looks generic. Try sprucing it up a bit. :biggrin:
Anyway, you have a talent with storytelling, and that definitely made me download and play this. And I'm impressed! Two enthusiastic thumbs up! :tongue:

Thanks for the comments people. Sheeit, I wish I had finished this. I guess it's never too late to do that but I've been really busy with college, life, etc. The game is at least 30 min than it was before but I don't think think that's worth releasing. I've had the story in my head of how it would end for some time now though... If anybody is up for helping me finish this/improving the mapping or something please let me know. Otherwise maybe it'll come out over the summer or I'll just make a new game game sometime because I have some great ideas for other stuff.
