The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk [anime]

Apparantly it's based off an RPG, but I've only heard of The Tower of Druaga for the NES O.o;

Anyhoo, it looks like a fairly cool anime from the trailer and promotional image I saw.

Anyone actually play Tower of Druaga (the non NES game) that could tell me what to look forward to in this anime?

Yeah, Gil and Ki are pretty much Namco's "other" mascots, along with Klonoa, KOS-MOS, and Valkyrie.


That said, I'll probably watch this if they don't muck up the story too much, or they add in generic anime drama. One of the main aspects I liked about Gil was that he wasn't some troubled hero with a bad past. He was a hero, simple as that. He wants to fight for justice for the sake of fighting for justice. Ki is strong on her own as well, despite looking like the typical mage-archtype. She can hold her own and even rescue's Gil at points. So as long as that's not messed up, I'm good.


Edit:After watching the trailer, I'll probably only watch it just to say I watched it. The whole point of the Druaga series is to feature Gil and Ki's adventures to destroy Druaga. This seems too generic for my tastes.
