Comments:Can you make the words in the red version and could you also make the 'atomic' symbol white and make it look like the font? Also could you make the edges of the symbol kind of fade out and blend into the letters and the background. The background just needs to be blank white so could you maybe darken the white of the symbol. Its a bit easier then it sounds but it could be a good challenge for you!

Just a heads-up, btw, it's the biohazard symbol, not atomic.

Another good thing to do with tribals is to incorporate them with the text. Don't hesitate in cutting off part of it if needed.

No. I have not seen any situation in which the bevel effect actually looked good.

Photoshop has a lot of filters, but most of them should never be used.

The sense of irony in this post is the logo advertising your game is a shitty photoshop logo, think before you post and honestly fair enough you don't like it but did you really have to post just to show how much of an asshole you guy are in this mans thread?

NoNick, good job on the titles. Your doing a decent job so far, seem to know the basics of the program. Try some more difficult things, different styles and just generally mess about while doing some of these requests. Have fun with them, its the best way to learn I think.

Thank you so much. It's perfect. I am sorry I didn't specify, but I didn't need the entire background with it, I was just asking for the swirly to be like an image in behind like the wings in the Cobalt Wings one you did... but this is more than I asked for, and it is great. Thanks so much.

Beveling is essentially a layer option rather than a filter.  It also can give good results but you have to know how to use the program as a whole rather than a few options.  Filters can often be beneficial to achieve results for which they were never intended as opposed to actually what they are meant for.  In fairness, a lot of the time a filter is just a shortcut of a few of the other tools functions added together.

The most important thing in any logo is legibility and clarity.  That should be your main focus.  Then you make things look pretty after.  I'm not putting down what you do cause its up to others if they want to request but focus on that first.
