Yeah, the song's intro is pretty slow and not really neccessary. I would cut it off at 14 secs and use the rest of it, since 0:14 is where the song picks up. Really good song, no complaints right now.

The graphics style is nicely original. I would use the easy level of the graphics to make some really wacky things and animations. Nice that you make your own music too! ^^ Other than that..Yea, keep going at it and doing in episodes like you just told me to do, haha. Xd

People like originality, as weird or wonderful as it may be it is still original and that is a good thing. That is the appeal. Just because you don't like the way something looks from a image does not mean everybody else will hold the same opinion on it. I mean, you're the guy that said RPG Maker XP was dying based on nothing but your own deluded personal bias towards the newer maker, so be quiet. Also to answer your first question, its drawn in flash, imported to RPG Maker XP and viola. The style is meant to be rushed and simple as stated many times in this thread. Give it a chance, read it you might actually learn something.
Back on topic. I loved the screenshots, the guy with a boner? Awesome. The guy in the raincoat parachuting with those birds, it looks really fun to play. I'll try the demo when I get a few minutes. Keep it up.

I'd never hire an artist, that's the last thing I would need. I didn't do this game like this because I can't draw, it's because I wanted to. The only thing I'll need some rare times will be a scripter, but I don't really need one in my team unless he's very good and always available to help.
Someday I'll put something in the art section so you see what I really can do.

Well stop browsing and grow up. Honestly complaining about that is stupid. I've still not tried the demo yet, been rather busy. I look forward to playing it and seeing some new screenshots.

this looks absolutely terrible. there is not one thing that looks redeeming at all about this. shitty graphics does not make the game cute or interesting, it makes it look like you are lazy and have no talent.

Well, the game hasn't even been released yet and it already had a rip off attempt, or at least served as inspiration, so I think I'll take that as a positive thing. Now some moogle guy doesn't like it, that's two positive things! So far I like the feedback, keep it up. Just don't go over the top in the "your graphics suck" department, at least say something about other aspects of the game.

It seems like people are liking this banner (because everyone who uses it is cool), so I think I'm going to put the banners I made (3) in the first post, so it can be an actual link to the project thread and I can get more and more views! Don't forget to use them, even if you hate the game, you can say for example: "This game sucks, it's halfassed and underdeveloped: (BANNER)", and not only will you be insulting my game but you will also be cool just for having the banner there. Think about it.
You can PM me for a custom "The Thief" banner too if you want, considering they take 30 seconds to make and I should only have about 0 people asking for one.
You can also check out the "Hiring" section if you're interested (I don't know why you would but...) in taking a (really really small) part in this game.
Don't forget to criticize the music if you feel you have anything new to say about it! I'll have some new screenshots soon (in, like, 2 days?) so you can bash on the graphics a bit more!
