Actually, my template is only a little larger than the RTP, this tileset would probably work with RTP characters. Not that I intend to find out, I think the RTP characters are hideous.

I'm trying to think of ways to break up the floor tiles. Perhaps an occassional accent tile or something.

@ccoa, well, maybe walls would help out ;P

Also, you have lots of floating tables there which could have a nice amount of lighting around it ... and I find it funny that they can make floating tables, benches, bars probably beds... but the bar stools need some help staying up ... we must be fat in the future ..

okay well I was just wondering wether it would be okay to post pictures from my platformer game i am making with gamemaker. I would post it in "Game Creation" but it seems that I get no feadback when I do.

thanks^_^

Your wifey is very talented. These custom tile sets should add a lot of spice to Outlaw City's previously uninspired city maps. I am really looking forward to the next version.

Check out this menu system. The 'item window' screen is meant to show up over top of the regular menu.

It's pretty basic. The sword icons are status effects, I just haven't gotten around to getting icons for them.

The item information window disappears while you are moving the cursor but when you idle for a second or two, it fades in anchored to the bottom right of the icon you have highlighted. If it runs off the screen, it automatically adjusts. Currently, it has a static size, but I will probably have it automatically extend to the width of the description text (second line).

Hey that looks pretty neat! I really like how you put XP in percentage rather than a fraction. Although, I would get a bit hard to know exactly how many points you need to level up.. something to think about there.

Good item system too. I never really liked icons-only tho. I always needed to see the words to know what I was using.. It may be hard for new players to get used to the items since they won't know what the icons represent at first.

Munkk: I don't really like the colors you used for the floors, though the walls are pretty well done. Though you probably need to use a bigger characterset. This one doesn't really match the style.

I just started my first village. It still needs a lot of detail. I wanted to know which bridge you think looks better, the wider one or the skinny one. I like the skinny one because it has better details but I also like the fact that I can add holes in the wider one. What do you think?

I know that the skinny one doesn't connect to anything yet.
