The meaning of ‘school’ in any dictionary can be described as “a institution of learning”. Where children are sent so they can be ‘moulded’ into our world’s future. Each aspiring in their own special fields, all training for the day where they enter the world and take on their own destinies.

At least, that’s what we are lead to believe. I, however have started to see the fabric of what our society is based off slowly unravel. Now I stand in the middle of all the half truths, my eyes finally opened up to what a school ‘truly’ is.

Of course, at first I was just like the rest. Back then school was just a duty, something that had to be done. I, went without hesitation, without question. Sometimes I think I was better off not knowing, ignorance can really be bliss.

I’ve walked the path of truth for many months now. My diary entries acting as my only bread crumbs, the only way for the others to follow me on my path. Its funny how my first step towards the truth, started off with a lie, a rumour…

Spoiler: Story Synopsis

Mitch is just a normal teenage boy who is starting his senior year at Silo Academy. To most, he would come off as a polite and straight A student. Never putting your foot out of line can really get you brownie points with the teaching staff. He had it all until one day everything began to change. With the spread of one rumour, his entire life began to crumble at his feet. Desperate to reclaim his place as the "prized" student sends Mitch on a path he will soon regret. To find out the truth, he must break all the rules. With Homework, Love, Friends, Rivals he will have to find time to overcome them all and unravel the truth about Silo Academy, but, is this a truth that should be uncovered?

Description:Ryan is mitch's child hood friend. His arrogant and hot blooded attitude used to always get the duo in trouble. Most see him as sort of a bodyguard because when ever someone is in a fight, he is the first to step in. Best described as the 'strong and silent type'

Description:Jarrad is seen by most as the 'wimp' of the group. Through his earlier years he was always getting picked on but now mostly everyone treats him with a little respect. Is always willing to get photos for Mitch and can be a good source for gossip.

Description:Erin is what Mitch could become with hard work and determination. She is top of every class and is always well mannered. She is considered one of the "prized" students. Her natural ability at science has made her into quite the inventor. She has no problem with inventing gadgets to help Mitch and the others.

Description:Ellen is the baby of the group, having been born a month after Mitch. To most she is seen as his "love" interest although the two deny it. Her love and ability for maths allows her to crack any code and even, when applied to a computer can help her hack into any systems. She is sometimes anti-social and is always taking the mick out of Mitch but, deep down she is a kind dedicated person.

Description:Nathan has a short fuse and will bite at even the smallest insult. Due to always playing First Person Shooters, he has adapted a keen sight and reflex from all the quick turning and sniping. Nathan is obsessed to the point that he is always wearing a headset, even while at school. Despite his short fuse, he is a loyal and trustworthy friend and is willing to stand up for mates. Sometimes just because it will involve him getting in a fight.

Wow man, Wow. You really thought this through, the characters are well-designed, especially with how the skills help the group and such. This is a game I REALLY wanna play.

I noticed that too, Greed, and also: I'm impressed, only one big spelling/grammar mistake. Try "destinies" instead of "destiny's." Otherwise, and on a more positive note: The story seems to be well structured, the introduction you wrote seems catchy enough, as well. The only problem that disheartened me was the generic FaceMaker face-sets. But then again, not everyone is an artist, as neither am I, so I can't really say anything, can I?

The project overall seems to have a semi-professional feel to it, and all I can say is: Good luck. It has potential.

As usual you writing skills are top notch saikoden! If you can get the right resources made(especially the tilesets) i think this will be a success if you pull through to the end.

Thanks for the offer Saint, ill definately call on you if i need you for anything. I've requested for Green Raven to make me some sprites of the main characters, so if that goes through then i will at least have the main characters. Then i can just frankensprite some NPC into school uniforms.

You can get a huge pack of premade school rtp characters from one of the big japanese sites, cant recall which one.

And seriously do change the name unless you are trying to go with the joke game thing, its the biggest condom brand by far.

...a screen shot from Ouran High School Host Club? Forgive me if I'm not impressed; with such a great description I would have expected more effort put into something as simple as a title screen.

A title screen, to me isnt all that 'important' All i really wanted was the picture of a high school and that was the only good one i could locate. You see it for like 5 seconds before going into the game and like usual, it can change. Nothing will be ever set in concrete until the games release.
