The scariest game ever...

Lol, this scenario(Never done but l can guarantee it).

Playing Doom 3 at 1 - 2am, With surround sound with Graphic's at maximum.

Really... A serious question can anything beat that?

The Fatal Frame series is some freaky shit. My husband and a friend of ours were playing and they REFUSED to let me turn the lights on. I got so freaked out I actually had to leave the room. >.>

Silent Hill is another good one. I was able to beat the first game, but I swear, the better the graphics got, the freakier the games got. I only ever got about halfway through Silent Hill two. The part that did me in was the part where you're walking down this narrow hallway with Maria tagging along. (Hospital, I think?) the camera is wonky, and just as you turn the corner, pyramid head turns the corner right behind you. I screamed and threw the controller. o.o; The was the end of SH2 for me. SH3 kicked my ass right from the get-go. Turn it on and BAM, you're already in creepy Silent Hill. I just stared at it for a minute, then passed the controller over to my friend. :P I can WATCH people play those games, but I can't play them to save my life.

We have RE4, and I could probably suck it up and play that if I ever grow a pair. So far, I've just made my husband play so I can see what happens. XD

I am the ultimate wuss.

Let me just say I'm never been able to beat a Fatal Frame game. Part of it is because I get so anticipatory of what's going to happen next that I jest get so high strung and go a bit crazy and have to collect myself. Part of it is because bits and peices were just plain freaky and disturbing, and part of it is because the game is sorta hard to play.

Fatal Frame = Scariest game ever.

I also was pretty freaked out by F.E.A.R., but that again had to do more with tension than it did with the game actually being scary.

Well when i had an SNES I considered Super Metroid as scary. not because of the enemies but the final boss Mother Brain.

Ah i'm not going to spoil anything but as soon as the creepy music starts and
Code:
Ah i'm not going to spoil anything but as soon as the creepy music starts and boom a brain with a !$%&!!! body and it's attackes. especially an unavoidable one that takes a huge chunk of health. Plus i've have to say nintendo did a good job scaring the crap out of me with that boss.

Also for me Chrono Cross Dead Sea Dungeon was scary as well as disturbing.

Ditto on Super Metriod. Being completely isolated in the vastness of space on a planet full of alien monsters... geez. This was enough to make a young kid think twice before switching the bedroom lights off.

Because they are so BORING! That series has the scare factor down but it could use a heavy injenction of F U N! I would take a Resident Evil or Silent Hill over those games anyday.

I never saw the Resident Evil games as really THAT scary, more just suprising at times. I found the Silent Hill games creepy as shit, and I played a little bit of Siren, it was a little bit creepy I suppose...

The game I've heard that takes it all tho is Fatal Frame.. haven't played it yet, and to be honest I'm almost hesitant too.. lol..

For me, it's Silent Hill 3 or nothing. While not quite as great (playability-wise) as #2, that game was scary as damn (at least for me.)

The two game that had gived me creeps are silent hill i hate the school when you enter the tower in the playground and the last bit when you are out in the city it shows like satanisim and the other is dino crisis 1 they give me a bit creeps when the dinosaurs jump on you from the windows or the t-rex and all the other dinosaurs when they come out from nothing.
