The RTP reformation (bordom project) (updated feb 9th)

This is such amazing work. I'd like just to point out a couple of things, don't know if anyone has done it, but anyway, here it goes:

HP Recovery 3 is missing
SP Recovery 3 is missing
Ice 3 lacks darkness border
Earth 3 lacks darkness border
Light 3 lacks darkness border
Burst 2 lacks darkness border

That's all. If you'd like to fix these, fine. I was just pointing it out, but I'd sure like to have them all! :D

Well the first two would be because maybe his image host is being a dick.

The last ones... wut?  What do you mean by a "darkness border"?
 
Nice Mascarpone, I'll be waiting for you to reupload them. You rock. Hey, if you're still bored, why don't you try making the rm2k animations, but for the rmxp, the same style you did these? I dunno, it's just a sugestion, but your work has the most amazing animations I've seen. What do you use to make those?
 
Awesome. Just one gripe with Sword Tech 1 - in the default animations, it's supposed to be some kind of holy attack, which is why it has a cross. Yours looks really cool, but doesn't have those same 'holy' connotations. Just my $1/50.
 
Well, I've been watching this one for a couple weeks and haven't said anything yet, but I really hope you are still working on these, because they are just beautiful.

Patiently waiting for the downloads...
 
Just when I started doing my own secret RTP-remodeling project, I started noticing a couple of different people doing different RTP-remodel stuff as well.

Maybe we should gather all of us together and we can all make one big alternate RTP pack, and somebody can make an actual RTP install file, then we'll be able to use both RTPs simultaneously... imagine opening up the RTP thing and seeing Standard AND Advanced RTPs in there :D

Not that mine is all that spectacular, I've just enhanced contrast and brightness on autotiles, tilesets and charsets... simplest thing in the world but looks alot better.

But enough about that, I don't even have to say it because everybody already knows: You're animations are out of this goddamn world awesome! Everything from A-to-Z is top-notch quality and put Enterbrain's default crap to shame (no offense to them and their poor customer relations.)

Two small things that bug me though: Earth 2 and 3 look like Poison/Earth spells, like the rocks are protruding out of a sea of toxic waste (keep it though, a poison/earth spell is kinda cool.) And Darkness 2 and 3 look awesome but... they're totally left-field to the origional, they have no resemblence whatsoever. (They're still really cool though, I'd probably use them for some wicked ass negative status effect like Pain or Curse or something.) Lastly, Thunder01... looks like a bunch of lines.

Everything else (including those) are spanking awesome man! Not trying to be a negative critic, but I did want to bring it to your attention if you ever do decide to re-do those. (Oh yeah, and I do miss the Cross on the Sword Tech, but no big deal there.)

I HAVE MONEY!!! In the future (when I have time to do *real* work on my project), I will be seeking you if you're still interested, because I've got a couple animations I might need you to do for my Chaos Drive skills and some particle effects I need done on some custom (unfinished) battlers. So if you ever decide to leave this forum but still do RMXP work, please leave me some alternate contact info... until then, I'll be checking back.

Was somebody talking about Adobe Imageready? ROFL.

I got bored (and needed new thunder anims so I could properly make my Sendervil's Shockwave spell), so here's a couple of Mascapone's Thunder anims, ripped from the GIF's and turned into Animation sheets.
seriously though, if u wanna go through the trouble of dissecting them thats fine by me.
Since Mascap has said its okay to dissect if we like, I thought I'd share with you other impatient ones:

I'm sure I don't need to tell you; but these are Mascapone's, not mine. (or technically, they're the copyright of those hardworkin' chaps who made particleillusion, but whatever)

If anyone is desperately in need of a rip NOW, then ask me if you'd like. PM for best result. Don't expect anything, though, as whilst its not really hard to do this...it is a bit tedious...
 
ummm... *Not to be rude or anything* but are these resources going to be released... or are we just gonna stare at them with awe and drool out of our mouths...?

Oh and by the way... THESE ARE KILLER ANIMATIONS YOU'VE GOT THERE

WOW! I can't believe you actually ripped em' out... Talk about achieving BIG... :tongue2:
 
he said he can't release the resources yet
till all the animations was completed...
anyway you can rip them off
from the animated gifs using adobe imageready(like eharper256 posted above)
but since its ripped
you can only get the animation from what it looks like in the gif
the original one might be different because it includes all the frames to make
the gif one(if some animations is seperated, hope you get what i mean)
Nice work mascarpone im going to wait for this to finish ^^
