These guys are too awesome. They do this whole 60s style pop/dance stuff which is just too catchy. They SHOULDN'T be brilliant, I mean the songs are pretty basic lyrically and musically, but it just works really well. Saw them at Leeds at like 10am when still hungover and it was really good stuff for it.

And The Beatles all had very simple tunes and lyrics but their music transcends genres so having complicated stuff doesn't always matter!

The Beatles transcended because some of their songs were simple therefore easily accepted by the masses, just like pop music nowadays, or for the same reason, fast food. Plus, it was all new so it was easily accepted. I admit The Beatles had a lot of good ideas during record sessions in studio though. What I find sad though is the fact their more intricate work is mostly unknown by the masses.

And yes, those girls look somehow cute lol But they aren't brunettes so they lost all my points.

Concerning music, I wouldn't say simple music would be better.

Actually, complex music contains layers of emotions that are much more intricate than simple music, not that simple music isn't good of course, I think simple music can be enjoyable as well, but when it is complex, it goes further in developing ideas and emotions.
It's like a painting, if you see what I mean.
