The Perjurer [Final Episode]

Are we allowed to talk about the project? Or are you guys going to just continue arguing?

The perjurer looks very interesting if I say so myself. I watched one of the videos a few days ago. Working with voice actors is very, very exciting! I've been working with voice actors myself, and it's always fun to hear how they can bring a character to life. It's also fun because it's a plot and storyline that you have come up with (even if people don't understand it), and voice actors make it feel that much more real. Please forgive me, I came here planning to critique your project only to see that you've taken the videos down!

With that being said, I'm very sorry these people have been harsh on you and your project, and I'm a bit disappointed that it lead to your taking them down. If it were up to me I'd ignore them and continue to promote my project, simple as that. From what I've seen this whole thread has been a good waste of 15 or so posts that could have been more than just mindless bickering, and it wasn't even really about your project. This is a pretty tough crowd, but don't let that stop you ^^

This kind of behavior is counter-productive to helping anyone improve. A lot of creators are too hesitant to consider critique/feedback without someone telling them that it's okay to ignore it.

That being said, we've been far from harsh toward the creator and the project. Nothing I've done or said has suggested that the creator should drop the project. I would hardly call these past few posts a "waste" except in the sense that all the well thought-out critique was handwaved and mocked instead of taken into consideration. There was no "mindless bickering" and it was certainly about the creator's project--the only one who has refused to discuss the project is the creator themself.

I just don't like seeing peoples creativity shut down so easily, if you lose all your inspiration you lose all hope of ever completing the project.
The creator's creativity was never attacked or "shut down."

I understand where you're coming from, but your posts aren't exactly helping anyone improve either. I think if he's taken down his videos he was surely affected in a negative way. Who wants to post a project on here if people are not going to talk about the project itself? And here we are yet still, not talking about his project.

How can we talk about the project when not even the creator wants to talk about it? =x

Also, the videos are still available here: http://www.youtube.com/user/ProjectTrinity

^ But you're not helping, sir. =x All you're doing really is showing annoyance at my initial dismissive post. Even after I clarify, you seem way too into the debate to actually solve it. It's actually really easy to at least believe that, when the moment I said 'yeah, the concept is flawed, what can I do about it?', 'Umm, I like critiques because that's exactly how the series got better? Especially when they were willing to debate it without feeling annoyed or bad? 0_o', or 'My personality has gotten more friendly support if anything, so it's just something between you and me.' you stopped talking. That doesn't sound like someone who wanted to help. Just someone annoyed he couldn't immediately find a contradiction. If that isn't the case, it'd been appreciated if you "responded to my post in a humble and respectful manner." Rather than dismiss it. D=

Moogle-dude wanted to help; you seem to want to argue/debate. And if that's what you want to do, I humbly ask that you do please step out of my thread and stop posting here. I believe human life deserves enough respect to solve any issues one may have with me. However, I do not believe my time should go towards a debate you intend on continuing. I'm hardly one with free time for eternal arguments. As far as I see, you'll keep doing it until I turn submissive on you. Go to my inbox if that isn't the case, but seriously, if you haven't noticed that your 'helping' sounds counterproductive for me and probably many others on the outside of this little discussion, then you have some very interesting pride that far exceeds my own.

@Everyone Else: I would never take down my projects from Youtube. lol I just took it off this thread because it was way too circumstantial for someone to go out of their way and rate down all three episodes of hours of hard work right after this discussion hit a halt. I can guarantee you that all three videos had 0 dislikes up until now. I stalk my videos I looked at it two ways: If I'm completely being a snot of sorts and not know it, I don't want my actions to grade against the team. And the other: if someone is going overboard with the debate by saying: "Not conforming? BAM! Dislike!" The episodes are still up and running. ^^ Just not on this thread.

@The Topic: As soon as this discussion officially ends (it CAN, now that we have more perspectives! lol), I'll bring the links back up. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I really want to solve the issues before I host the videos again.

I believe he was talking about the comments you made that weren't helpful at all. Not Moogle's critique - In which I saw nothing wrong with considering.

Edit: I didn't answer this, I guess. D: But in short: no times a billion for reasons that can be found up above.

...Looks like we're back on topic! =D

Episodes 1-3 are back up on the first post here and I'll add the links to the extra scenes and the outtakes later on. Episode 4 will probably be in December, so stay tuned!

And the final bump of the thread (finally) announces the final episode.

Next series will be away from RPG Maker and into a unique blend of artwork + dark story telling. And for those who worry - it's cemented in 200% more realism than this series - which branched off from the original trail more than even I thought thanks to the collaboration of a 2nd writer. =p
