The Official Musician's Workshop!!!

Good day and welcome to "The Official Musician's Workshop"!!!  I've noticed there really is very little posting in the Music Creation thread so I thought of this in hopes of spicing it up!  I don't know if this will go anywhere, if it does, hurray, if it doesn't oh well! Here you will soon find a vast assortment of music composed by none other than the RMXP community musicians! This however is no ordinary run of the mill music workshop. NO!! This is the Musician's Workshop!

Let me explain in detail the rules:

    * First and foremost, this is for musicians of ANY level. If you are a beginner, don't be afraid to sign up and complete the objectives to the best of your ability!

    * The goal/objective is for a song to be composed following that week's Song Objectives.

    * Any instrument can be used unless otherwise specified.

    * Not all Song Objectives will be the same, keep that in mind and remember to read that week's objective.

    * If you want to sign up, you can do so at any time as long as it is a day before the deadline.

    * Sign up by either PM or on this thread.

    * The week's songs will be displayed in order sent below once the deadline is up until the next Song Objective.

    * Old songs will be put into the Archive section unless otherwise specified by the song's composer to be removed.

    * You may NOT use these songs as resources unless specified by the composer. There will be an indication next to their song whether or not                          you may use it as a resource.

    * You may critique, ask questions on how something is done, or praise a particular composer. However, rude comments or clearly distasteful critiques are not allowed. This is a place to learn and grow as an artist, or just to hear some great tunes!

    * Don't plagiarize someone else's work!! Similarity to another song may and will happen eventually, but don't try to pass another's work off as your own.

    * If a composer would like to back out or cannot complete the song for ANY reason, they may do so via PM in which their name will be removed from the list as soon as possible.

    * Complete song links to be sent via PM. You can upload them to file hosting site such as box.net which is free! The links to the songs will be posted here once the deadline is met.

    * Audio quality of the song must be decent! That means we have to be able to hear the song, not static and a few notes!

    * Suggestions of any kind are appreciated and I will fulfill them to the best of my ability!

There you have it folks, if I missed something let me know so I can update! Remember, this is not a competition! This is a workshop to see other composer's methods and hear their interpretation on the Song Objective for that particular week!

Updates:

09/28/2008 - After reviewing the rules, I've corrected a couple things. I'm also thinking of changing the rule concerning the deadline. I think if a composer's song is complete, they can opt to have it posted before the deadline so people can listen to it. What do you guys think?
