If you mess around with the right stick you can control the angle of your avatar's head. Sometimes you can get their heads to smack against the TV screen, and sometimes they get dizzy.

also if you make them look up, then down over and over, they smile as if theyre nodding their heads.
if you make it go left, then right over and over, they get angry!

personally, i don't see the point in adding the avatar system. i think its cool and everything, but what do they do other than just stand on my 'my xbox' screen?
the GUI is more attractive that the old one, tho.

I happened to notice that more display resolutions are available for the vga cable including 1440x900.  Yay, no more stretched or distorted images for me!

This is definitely cool, having finally picked it up. My shitty cable company has been so slow lately I can't use the netflix feature (major bummer), but I do like the new interface. I guess since up until I got the Wii & 360 this past month I hadn't bought a console since the SNES (I game on PC) the novelty of operating systems and downloadable content for console hasn't worn off yet, but this is still slick independently of that. My only gripe: what the fuck is with promotional items costing money? People actually pay a buck fifty to plaster a game character on their background? You're supposed to GIVE THIS STUFF AWAY to generate interest. It's like paying to look at a movie poster or something, I dunno.
