Don't know why there wasn't a thread on this expansion. Lets talk about it here. Whats your movie studio? what type of movies,( stunt like or whatever it is)have you made. So post the movies related things in here. anything. Love the free-cam!

Is The Movies good? Does it beat out Lionhead's other series...'s?

It's an okay game, with okay customizion for movie making but the scenes are rather limiting as to how your movies are made.

I recently bought the whole pack and I enjoyed it, made a few movies(not worth putting up) but it's rather boring and dull now since it's so limited. but alas I doubt they'll do any more EPs for the game. what a shame.

Well I can't say, Since those two are totally different games from this. so they don't even begin to compair.

No way, this is by far their best prospect. However, like all their prospects, the idea of the game sounds better than the execution. Some pretty fun movies have been made with it, though.

I liked that one movie...The western with Gun in its name...
Well, I forget the name, but I thought that was pretty good. And you can put vids on their site too, so I saw some of them and it was pretty cool all the stuff characters did, but it does seem a bit limited - especially how you have to use their models, poses, et cetera.
I don't have it, just guessing from what I've seen.
I have wanted to buy it, though.

@Ryan:Well, come now, Black & White wasn't bad at all. It's pretty damn fun to cast those miracles...especially the fireball. That was my favorite...hehehe.
Anyways, I've been looking into The Movies and I dunno if I should get this or get the new Age of Empires...
