I really liked City of Heroes, and I'm pretty sure it's not as popular as it should be (at least not in the UK).
But I'm a sucker for anything related to superpowers. I only quit because it's a bit expensive and a few of my friends who played it stopped.

I'm seriously surprised VQ+ still works, especially considering there's never more than 10 people on at once. What's even more surprising is that my character was still on the server even after at least three years of inactivity.

I used to play these two really obscure MMOs like about five or six years ago called "Myth of Soma" and "Legend of Mir", I think Mir was more popular but in my eyes Soma was a lot better. They ran on 2.5D isometric graphics, pretty basic click on the enemy to attack thing but it was always a lot of fun, especially seeing as how the managers of the game gave a shit to the fact that there were people there and arranged in-game story events and stuff that would change or advance the plot. They took down the servers finally on March 31st 2009.

"Endless Online." It's simple 2D game that's very addictive, but hackers ruined it. The game seems to be in danger of dropping off the face of the universe, but I love it, and play it everyday. (my in game name is Photonia)

Chronicles of Spellborn, i played it on my bros laptop and it looked really good, but i have to upgrade my computer to play it.

Any Ragnarok Online server, I only know maybe three other people who play and it's not on the servers I like.... >.< It's so addicting it's awful.

Also, Lunia, which I'm not playing at the moment since my PC is a piece of crap and I have no wireless internet to hook up my laptop to, but I enjoy it very much.
