I heard they weren't focusing as much on gameplay for this title as they did on Shadow of the Colossus. They're heading in the direction of simply "computer entertainment." Make or break? What do you guys think?
For those of you who have no idea what The Last Guardian is, it's this:
It's by the team that made ICO and Shadow of the Colossus and is about a boy and a baby griffon who rely on each other to do puzzles and kill these stone soldiers. In this interview I watched, it seemed that the game focuses a lot on interaction, art, and character development, with gameplay as a secondary aspect.
Not that this is an issue, but how do you think this next gen title will fare compared to other, more flashy and action packed games? I thought it worked well with SotC.
