The Inbetweeners Movie
So for us Brits at least The Inbetweeners Movie is finally here! For those of you who don't know The Inbetweeners was a British TV Series that revolved around four kids who were not cool, but not quite geeks either at school. It was a strangely sad and realistic approach to secondary school/high school years showing them more as what they actually were like as opposed to many shows and movies showing what we wish they were like. The movie sees the four lads graduate school and head off on one last massive guys holiday to Malia in Crete, somewhere I've been myself twice, to get sex, "sea, booze, minge, fanny and sex".
Here's my own quick review. Leave your own thoughts below if you've seen the movie already or if you haven't just tell us how much you want to see it.
Hands down funniest film in years! Anyone who's been on a lads holiday can relate to the film just like anyone who's been to secondary school can relate to the show. Just hilarious! Feels like feature length episode of the movie, but in no way is this a bad thing, contrary, this is a great thing. It does take some liberties with it's warts-and-all approach from the show and make you suspend disbelief but the moments are few and far between and hardly worth mentioning. In fact I'd have been a bit annoyed if they hadn't given the guys a happy ending!
If you're a fan of the show, you will love this. I personally absolutely really really enjoyed it and was laughing non-stop throughout the movie. I give this the first 10/10 review I've given in years for a comedy!
