The Hills Have Eyes

Well, my friend just brought over the unrated version of "The Hills Have Eyes" and I have to say it was freakin' disgusting! I mean, it was a pretty good movie, but the gore was sick! Wes Craven is sick for thinking of the idea originally...

I disagree! Wes Craven is BRILLIANT for thinking of such an idea. I really enjoy these kinds of movies for some reason.

The special effects and gore were some of the best I've ever seen. The characters were very unique and very cool.

Plus, the ending kicked ass.

It wasn't THAT bad but I've seen REAL dead people before (maimed, cut up, etc.) so I guess I've built up an immunity to onscreen violence.

As far as remakes go, it was pretty good (as remakes tend to suck). Definitely better than the original. Also, I don't get the ending:

A pair of binoculars are watching them from the hill... what? I thought they killed all the mutated family?

Umm, I think someone, or someone who could've been in charge of those radiation infected people, was still watching them? :-/
