~Story~

Four kingdoms, the Kingdom of Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth, occupy the world. Each of the four kingdoms possess an elemental stone that was handed down by their respective gods (Poseidon, Zephyr, etc...) and each stone is exceptionally powerful. If an individual is in possession of all four stones, undeniable power will granted to them.
Just when the Kingdom of Fire and the Kingdom of Water had finally set their differences aside, the king of the Kingdom of water had realized the Stone of Water had been stolen. Under the impression that the Fire Kingdom's new king, Antonio Rivar had stolen it, he sends a squad of elite knight masters to the Kingdom of Fire on a journey that will change their lives.

~Protagonists~

Raveneg

Raveneg is a skilled knight master who takes after his father, Serovath, who is the nation's hero. Raveneg had always dreamed of becoming a knight master and when he finally was accepted into training, he did not hesitate to leave his old life behind.

Darrid

Darrid, although being an old rival during he and Raveneg's childhood, is almost equal in strength compared to Raveneg. Sometimes he and Raveneg get reminded of their dark childhood, which usually does not yield pretty results. Darrid still gets quite jealous of the respect Raveneg recieves due to the fact that he is the great Serovath's son.

Saira

Saira grew up in a separate, more wealthy village on the other side of the continent from where Raveneg and Darrid grew up, making her less close to them as a person. She often has to put up with the feminist jokes that the other guys say, and most of the time she tolerates it. She is always willing to learn more of Raveneg and Darrid's past.

~Other Characters~

King Skylark

The Kingdom of Water's king. He is known as the militaristic genius of the world due to the fact that he had the idea to train such deadly and powerful soldiers called knight masters. He often has trouble accepting the fact that his wife, the queen, died of natural causes, and often accuses the Kingdom of Fire, not being able to get over the fact that they were once great enemies. Although, his wife was in perfectly good health the last time he saw her, which gives him good support for his accusation.

Serovath

Raveneg's father, who died when Raveneg was born. He was the embodiment of the Kingdom of Water's glory because he always made the right decisions in battle and was responsible for putting an end to the Kingdom of Fire and Water's war. In the game, you find out how Serovath died, and how it will be connected to Raveneg's life, destiny, and fate.

Cevro

Cevro was one4 of Serovath's squad-mates. He had gone missing in one of the missions during the war, but nobody knows why or how. Could it be connected to Serovath's death?

~Antagonists~

King Antonio Rivar

The king of the Kingdom of Fire. He was recently elected after Leopold II, the previous king. You will find out what happened to Leopold II and why his office ended so early.
Rivar is a not only a dictator who rains oppression on his people, but he also believed to be in possession of the Stone of Water. He is also in command of the army, and every militaristic move he makes is clever and strategic, which makes him dangerous. Is Rivar plotting to gain possession of all four stones, or is he simply luring the Kingdom of Water into something bigger?

There will be more antagonists in the game, but you'll just have to play it, won't you?

Notes: Feel free to critique what I have so far as heavily or as lightly as you'd like.

Uhm, I think rpgs based off elements are way overdone now. Maybe you should try to innovate more. Perhaps base it off hell and heaven so that you need to travel to hell to get the destructive elements and heaven to get the good-natured elements. Then you can add stuff like black magic into the mix and dark rituals etc whcih can make the plot more interesting and twisted. I mean there's gotta be a twist and just having a war is like ... cliche and won't do it unless you're going for a cliche game of course.
Also I would try and change the title to something more magical sounding, perhaps something like The Fourth Crystallus
GL

It's really not as cliche as it sounds. The game won'
t be focusing on the general idea of there being four elemental stones, but about side-stories and following the three main characters' journey. There will be things that tie everything in nicely, don't worry ;)

Okay you really need a kick ass journey if the player is to remain interested in a war between elements O-o. I'll try it if you want PM me the demo

Awesome Bro

I'll do this as I go along.

The music.. king of distracting at some points, but original.
The inner maps were a bit too spacious.
Red text boxes are an eye sore.
"I" before "E" except after "C".
Interesting battle system and lighting effects.
Nice little sneaking system. Is that the one I did for you?

Kind of lost interest after that point, but good work.

Okay thanks for the comments. I have a question, though. What points of the game had distracting music and how?

Also, the misspelling of "Received" has been pointed out before so no worries about that. The stealth mission was indeed the one you made for me. I appreciate that by the way.

Uh, anyway, hope you find the interest to continue playing.

When the whole training thing started I walked out of the room to go do something. When I came back I thought I was in the middle of an opera. Vocals in RM music would probably be fitting during a really dramatic cutscene, but that's about it in my opinion.

Oh man I just listened to all of the training music and I never realized that it had the "God Save the King" business lol. Hmm. I don't know what I should change it to though. Anyway, did you ever finish the demo?

Nice game. Especially the fort minigame, where you have to get past the guards, I'd really like to know how you did it ^_^. Also nice maps. I think I saw a fire out of places in one of the houses.

The minigame for sneaking past the guards was something I whipped up, and can be found here. There's a download link and a full explanation of the code if you follow the link. Feel free to use it in your own games! It's just an event.
