the Doxian Orchestra

The Black Dance: Very deep, has an dark feel to it. I rather like the tune, it is quite flowing and natural. It also gave me a sort of Arabic feel to the song. Could be good for a desert as well or a ship theme.

By The Water: Super Symphonic, however it seems a little to dramatic for a scene standing by or near water, I would have preferred a calm and restful theme over the harder instruments you used.

A Black Horizon: Definitely gave me a Lord of the Rings approach to the whole evil approaching theme. The song is deep and lasting, definitely gives the feel of a great evil. You used your bells appropriately some people don't do them at correct moments and throws the feeling of a song at times.

Welcome To Town: Man, this reminds me of the song in Port Quinos of Everquest One. It is a good theme for a port town, or a sleepy village in the woods. I love harps so you got a plus for that from me. The melody can become a little dull and repetitive however, maybe more variety or more percussion would suit it well, other then that it is a solid town theme as you labeled it.

Over all, these are good songs, just remind me to critique them if you want. And keep up the good work, you're one of the few good musicians this site has, because as of now, I know of about 6 good ones you included.

I'm really loving 'Welcome to the Town'. The chord progressions are smooth, the only issue is around half way through, there are a few notes that clash with the chords, making it sound a bit... off. But fantastic all the same. I personally don't have any problem with the repetitiveness of the overall song.

How long it take for you to fully write up a song?

MP3's don't play well over the internet for my Windows 2000, and I'd prefer not to download the songs just to hear them, so I'm going to request that you offer a midi version for each song.
