The Chronicles of Rune is a pet idea of mine that I've been attempting to make into a game for ages now. There was one (failed) attempt at it on RMXP, but now I'm entirely redoing everything from scratch for this contest. I'm entering (very) late, but I still hope to actually finish this time!
Meet Rune, a fun loving, courageous (not to mention obnoxious) young woman that gets into much more trouble than she should for someone her age. Her goal in life? To find that one "something amazing" that will top all "something amazings" ever found in the world, just like her grandmother used to tell her about when she was a kid. She finally finds it in the form of an ancient underground temple... unfortunately it didn't like to be found, and Rune found herself ejected halfway across the world.
That's not about to stop her though! Together with her rescuer, she scours the world, trying to discover the mysteries behind that temple, while gathering more friends (or unlucky followers, depending on your point of view) along the way. Nothing can stop her from finding out more about her discovery, not bad guys, or even the end of the world!

Age: 21
Rune is the bright and cheerful heroine of the story. She has a rather forceful personality, and doesn't like it when people try to get in her way. Ever since she was little, she's always wanted to find something that would make her truly famous. Unfortunately when she does find it, it kicks her out, but that's not about to stop her!
Age: 23
A desert man born of a foreign mother, Achmed is a very kind and noble young man that searches his desert home trying to find the parents he lost when he was a child. Rune quite literally fell on top of him one day when he was traveling home from a long expedition, and he took it upon himself to see to it that she recovered and made it back home safely. Rune makes his resolve in doing that exceedingly difficult sometimes though.
Age: 30
Chrystal is a very sweet and mature woman, as well as an accomplished healer. She grew up being taken care of by her older brother, Jade, so it's not too much of a surprise that she can occasionally be sarcastic. When provoked, however, that sweetness drops away very fast, and out comes a perverted, gruff woman that makes some men blush. She joins up with Rune when her and Achmed come looking for her brother.
Age: 35
A world renown mage of considerable skill, Jade doesn't let such accomplishments get to his head. After all, he's such an innocent and purehearted character, how could anyone suspect him for being responsible for the deaths of thousands. If you couldn't tell, Jade is an exceptionally sarcastic and secretive individual; not even his sister knows everything about him. He joins when Rune comes to him looking for a way to break the entrance seal to a cave she found.

I need assistance configuring skills and their animations using Kaduki battlers for the Tankentai with ATB. This is pretty much all I need help with, and I'm willing to give the person who fills this position a cut of the money if the game wins.
