"The Architext": A Helpful Primer For Aspiring Game Designers

Hey everybody!

This is a tutorial for aspiring game designers. It is NOT an original work, a fact that I stress a couple times throughout, and I do not claim ownership of its contents in any way. Although I will take credit for compiling it all together in an easy-to-read format  :)

Enjoy "The Architext"!

This won't help the average RMXP designer. It's more focused on commercial game development. But nonetheless, it will provide many with a nice path.

Well it depends on what the average RMXP designer is. If it's anybody that's serious about game design, then it's totally useful. I think that if people decide not to use it then of course it won't be helpful. But you can't legitimately say that it won't help the "average" designer. Whoever wants to learn will find something that strikes a chord with them, although they may get a better idea of it all by visiting the original source web page. There are many more chapters that cover a multitude of topics.
