That walk up and battle script

what is that script where you can fight the enemies or what not without going into a battle...

ex: walking map, find a grunge hamster and press button or click with mouse to attack... walk up and change character graphic to attack... or use skill and show animation...

does anyone know... i seen it done and was wondering... much thanks...

another ex: wondering around and enemie comes up and attacks... so you turn around and fight back... no executing battle mode... already in game fighting...

Just a question about ABS's...are there a lot of graphics for these? Or a site that has graphics meant for these? I know this isn't the right place to ask, but I don't wanna make a new thread to ask cuz it's not a big deal and I'm just curious. I'm sure the OP will want to know too.
