Tetris Friends

This is awesome.

That's all that really needs to be said, but I'll go on anyways. It's essentially multiplayer tetris, with up to two or six player competition, along with several challenge type modes. I just started playing about an hour ago and I've enjoyed it a ton. The thing is still in open beta, so a few things are missing (most annoyingly, you can't play a specific person; the matchups are based on skill), but there are no bugs that I've seen as of yet. Give it a try!

This is fucking amazing, I've played 3 games, won all three, and sent off 14 lines, haha...

14 lines when you add them all up that is, 7, 2, 5

I played once and won.

It's not so much that I sent of 16 lines. (4x4)
It's more that I were the only one who sent off lines.

I can't say I enjoy it when there is no competition.

I gave this a try.
At first I was dissapointed, same as above.
But it does get more challenging and fun when you win a few times then get to play with other winners.

Yeah, Star and I first played it like 2 months ago and it's really easy at first. He was VERY ADDICTED to it. XD Hehe. Later though, it got REALLY hard, and I think he just eventually forgot about it (me too). We wanted to verse each other specifically, but my skill level sucked compared to his. ^_^;

This reminds me of that SNES game Tetris Attack... one of my favorites...

I've been playing a bit and enjoy it... all those days in math class playing tetris on my calculator are paying off. xD

It's pretty fun but REALLY easy in the beginning, after you've advanced a few ranks however, it can get a lot harder I suddenly ended 4th instead of 1st!

I was like, rank seven before I lost a match. The KO crap goes specifically after people who try to get big combos. I was ready for about three tetris(is?) in a row when I got bumped up about four spaces; just enough to KO me. A nice classic tetris version of the six player battle would be nice.

(I.E NO FREAKING KOs!!)

The KO's are weighted a lot more than lines too. I had like 4 more lines than a guy once but he had one KO and beat me.

yeah. with elimination instead of knockouts, this could be really cool.

I did the same as zeri, but sent 12 lines against five zeroes. ;-;
