Template tryout... Rate it plz ^^

First let me tell you that this is a WIP, i just want some opinions on it before i can go further. You´re open to suggest, criticize, whatever... I just want to know if this can turn a good template, bcoz i don´t want to work blind in a *supposedly* bad starting ^^

RANT 1 - It really looks like an ordinary anime guy imo... And looks like he loves a beach! xD

RANT 3 - Hmmm... Tried hard on the palette?

You have way too many colors, and you're using a very dark middle tone. Spriters make the middle tone on their default templates light not because of a race issue, but because i tends to be easier to see the form.

It looks like a great start, although the edges seem very pixelated. As I said above, though, the odd palette makes it hard to give you much real criticism.

I may recolor it... The palette is really odd, i had many problems while choosing the colors. I´m worried about that...

And i tried to give it an upper look, but not like the RTP style. Ended that it became more "front-look" than i would expect ^^

But i liked a lot the face...

I understand what you were trying to do, but what you've ended up with is a side view character, so it's kinda useless for standard RPGs.

Good work overall though.

It looks like it's bending over, try giving it a neck, redo the legs, focus less on the outline of the 6pack, enlargen the feet a bit, and let it relax it's arms.
