The Silent Alarm;236005 said:What are you talking about? I never said we wouldn't be affected HOWEVER the north of England and Scotland will be, in comparison to many areas, relatively unscathed. If you look on a flood map, more of the US will survive, but most major US cities WILL be flooded. If they are all lost, the US is in serious danger economically, industrially and internationally.
I was just stating nowadays a lot of the american discussions on this seem oblivious to the fact UK goes down first. They say "When i notice a difference on my doorstep, i'll do something" By then it'll be too late anyway but UK will be 3/4 underwater by that time. I'm not pointing this to anyone as a person but nowadays a lot of the population dont worry what happens unless it happens to them.
Most people just say, "It's not my business" And i'm sure you all have heard the statistics that if you call out "MUGGER" or "THIEF" No one comes purely because they dont want to risk themselves. As for the statistics shout "FIRE" instead.
