Hello World!

Here is a piece of techno music that I made to be played in a technological scene. It starts out releatively simple, but it eventually comes to a melody. Some CC would be greatly appreciated. I would like to become a better composer, and I think .org could help me.

Well i've always been a huge fan of techno.
Even composing it myself at first.

Techno can be really hard to pull off with MIDI instruments, and when i heard the first bar of your song, i thought it was going to suck.

But it really impressed me, It was very well structured, and the parts all complimented each other.

dont like how long it takes to start up and it feels too much like a midi.. also some variation with the drum beats would be nice. Techno DOES have variations.

hmm if you added some bass with more depth... well that would be a start to get your song out of midi-esque status...

The midi sound is all that I am good with at the moment, sorry, I'm working on that.
Variation can be done, I'll put some in my next version (v3).

More depth-y bass? Sounds good to me. I'll see what I can do with the next version.

why dont you use the plugins like

sytrus or toxic?

that could give you great non midi bass/synth sounds you can work with.

Ok, I'll give it more attention, but I don't have the money for Sitrus.

you can make very good sound with it too some professional people

have done very good sounds with it that can sound better then it sometimes(you just use effects with it too)

This is good, but I can't save any instruments with Sytrus because I only have the demo. 3x OSC is the best I have for this at the moment, unless someone has a cheap or free replacement suggestion?

OK, you can go to Google and search after "free vst plug-ins"

they are usually free. not the best but they can still be good
