This is my idea for a Minecraft adventure map, I've been wanting to do this scenario since Minecraft left alpha, but I don't have the time and it is a hobbyist thing so I don't plan on dedicating much time to it at all.
The scenario I thought of is:
A cargo ship has lost communication with the mainland, going completely silent during a storm out at sea.
You are part of a crew on a small vessel that is planning on going to the last known location of the ship and stealing the contents of one of the shipping containers.
You manage to locate the cargo ship, which is still drifting in the storm. You climb aboard to notice that the entire crew is missing.
Your little adventure begins as what you think is a small job of stealing from a container becomes a dark, spooky adventure.
I plan to keep the majority of the adventure at night time with the storm effect constantly going and even reduced visibility with blindness.
The adventure map would take place on the cargo ship with a linear path to follow, it will have points of no-return and use command blocks to store progress (So the map can be replayed without breaking everything).
The concept is a ghost ship story, no mysteries or NPC characters or quests to complete, simple linear ghost story with some easy monster fighting, I want to go for an atmospheric stormy map with good map flow.
