Hmmm i liked Tales of Destiny taht waas so good and funny like the part when you find the dark magic book and Phillia catches you and knocks you out that was funny but the last boss was way too easy maybe because i was lvl70 but i killed it without attacking me but overrall i really liked it

oh and Tales of the world Nakiri dungeon 2,3 were so cool especially with the mass of class changes

... And this has to do with Tales of Phantasia, how?...

This topic isn't about the Tales series as a whole, it's about the original, Tales of Phantasia.

And another note, I own Tales of Symphonia (playing through it right now), and i'm loving it. Combat seems fast paced, and the battlesytem is awesome.

Don't let Dopples hear you say that.  :P

ToS was one of my favorites too.  I instantly fell in love with Kratos -- he's just such a badass -- and Lloyd is such a dork you can't help but love him.  Same goes for Collette and Genis.  Definitely a game I have no qualms about playing over and over again.  ^^;

Oh, I know this. Every time I mention it he goes on how much he hates it. XD

Also, I just got Phantasia. It's pretty nice, but i wish it had a "manual setting". I don't like the random running backwards (I just learned to overcome it).

Yeah, it's a little strange at first, but after a while, you'll become accustomed to it.

Actually, there is a manual setting, you have to equip a certain accessory to use it, though. Plus, you get it kinda late in the game. By then, though, you'll probably be so used to semi-auto, that you'll just continue to use that.

I've played with it in order of these versions: SNES, GBA, and finally PSX. I got used to the PSX version a bit hard, because I got used to the computer's keyboard (I play the most of the RPGs with computer), but it's beautiful. The graphics are awesome!!! :D :D :D I like cartoonish or movie-like style games.
