Intro:

Hi Guys, this is well, my 3rd every RMXP game made. the last 2 were cancelled due to a horrible event (losing all files) so now, I hope this one continues! I Present to you:

History:

For Eons, Celestial Beings from the heavens, or what Gaian (Earthly) people call the “Gods and Goddesses” in their Tales have sent forth Their Children on Planet Gaia To Heal the Planet from The Atrocity that has Engulfed it, Many Otherworldly Malevolent Beings have already Conquered the Planet and Ruled it over, Spreading Fear and Darkness throughout the Planet… And This Horrible Act would affect the Balance of the Universe, therefore, Celestial Beings of the Light would send forth their Children on Gaia to Preserve it’s Light and protect the Balance from the Draconians (A Malevolent Race of Reptilian Extraterrestrials) Whom have already Ruled Gaia for Generations, the Cycle of Life and Death had to Flow Accordingly, but These Evil Dictators have Affected the Cycle and the Balance of the Universe, and it must be Stopped by any means Necessary.

Story:

The Story Takes place to a Tale of an Extraterrestrial named “Celesty”, Celesty one day wakes up in a strange place (Taliya Town) without any memory of Her Home nor her Past, She was taken cared of by a woman Named “Thea” and her servant “Bina” for the time being, as they were the ones who found her Unconscious by the Seas. Now, Celesty is on a Conquest to Regain her memories through objects that might bring Familiarity and Nostalgia to her . Little does she know, that the Supreme beings who decided her fate had something more for her, a Very Special Mission that Requires her Good Heart, Bravery and Wisdom.

Celesty
An Empathetic Girl, She is regarded as a foreign Girl because of her Pale Skin and her Stunningly Golden Hair, Celesty also speaks in a Different manner that somehow sounded too formal or scientific in the ears of Gaians... Despite her losing her memory, she has the rare ability to see Spirits and Lost Souls that she may Aid find their way to Justice. Celesty also always had a Strange Affinity to the Benevolence of Nature and it’s Animals, thus, as an Empath she is somehow Unwillingly Tied to all the Life-force that lurks the planet.

As You Can see, I plan this to be one hell of a Fantasy RPG. and this game may actually have alot of Side quests to fulfill by Saving Lost Souls and etc. As the Main Character herself is an Empath and can feel and be one with the life-force around her. really don't know what to say yet as I'm in my early development phases of the project!

Only names and beginning of sentences are capitalized. Avoid using ellipsis (...) for pauses in speech. You can break it up by starting a new text box and if you want an actual pause use the wait command between messages.
The mapping inside of houses should make sense, think practical. Keep the screen composition in mind.

You need to work on holding player's suspension of disbelief. Celesty was found ashore 3 days ago. This is the first she asks about her belongings or goes outside apparently. The Laundry house is a "mile" away from the house; sure it is. It's a self serving laundry house, why would Thea leave the robe there in the first place? For 3 days! Luke went out of his way to bump into Celesty on his way to the laundry house; I know he was just following the path and the event was just to tell the player where to go next, but still. Why exactly does a laundry house need someone to guard the stairs, can't they just lock the door? Oh right, Mr. Bogard must have all the keys, that would explain leaving a robe in a machine for 3 days. Luke raced back to get help, somewhere between bumping into Celesty and her performing a fetch quest to exorcise a sprite he suddenly has a job to do and can't be bothered to lead the way back. This unarmed girl in a dress with no memories is going into the forest to fight a demon, lets just stand here and wonder if she'll be alright.
 
lol, I can see your point with the whole stuff going on, but yah, you're really right about some common sense some characters need to show here, especially with Luke and Dorothy just wondering if she'll be fine... but yah, Celesty wasn't really aware that she's going to fight a demon, because she has an intuition inside her that she needs to get to Mr. Bogard Fast without slowing down, thinking about the path she'll be going through. So it's kinda like, she's a little too excited and advanced in some things she likes to do. But you're right about Luke "suddenly having a job to do and couldn't bother to lead the way back" I might try to make a little sense of it in my next update!

And yah, thanks for the Advice about the usage of the text box especially with the pausing stuff, I'll try to change them!
 
Its just you don't question the character's actions when you're the one deciding them. The player will know in order to advance the story they need to go to the woods. So you could just over hear Luke saying there was trouble and let the player figure out where to go next. But by having Celesty react and make a decision it's harder to hold the player's disbelief because it's now part of the story and not just element of the gameplay you would normally ignore.
 
You know what, that made so much sense, you're right, making Celesty Overhear the story then she goes out on her own (as the player will figure out where to go), hmm I'll try to make some dramatic changes with the occurrences in this game, thankyou so much once again! :biggrin:

Sorry guys for the long wait, I haven't been able to update it much because of summer classes (you know, college stuff :p ) so I decided to upload a little update just to let you guys know that this will still be continued! :)

Here is a nice and lovely story, even though it's a demo.
In a world everyone in its hurry, everything appear and disappear so quickly, a tale like this is rare.
From an origin value to judge and do what should be right.
It's an eye as child, innocent and pure:
Help lost souls find justice, to pick up the value lost in the secular world. That's nice!

Please check the following issues:
“no pain, no game”=>“no pain, no gain”(dock, the man)
Bina's through=true=>false (Thea's House, room with two beds)
“me senses are telling me it's getting dark here.”=>"my sences"(In the forset)

By the way, without coincidences there would be no stories:
your storyline is similar to mine.
 
this one looks interesting. downloading it now and will let you know what I think about it later. Just continue the good work.
