Switching Computers

My PC has been running super slow and I really only ever use my laptop. So since I can only have rmxp on one computer at a time, how do I switch the game to a different computer? If I move my game folder to the laptop will I be able to use the data I already have?

You mean, if you can use RMXP at a different computer? If that's what you mean, then no...

I mean switch it so I can just use it just on my laptop and not on my pc. I dont want to run it on both puters.

Ah yes. This has come up before, and it is perfectly within the EULA to use RPGXP on both computers, just not at the same time.

However, you have to use the Setup on both computers, because just copying the files will NOT work, as there are files spread far and wide throughout your registry that you'll be missing on the other computer. It is also possibly illegal.

However, if you have RPGXP installed on both computers, you are perfectly within your rights to move the "game" folder over. I do this with "Light and Darkness - Neopilos" all the time, it helps.

make sure your laptop is connect online when you run rmxp for the first time after setup, it has to contact a website to verify your code. but don't worry, they aint gonna sue you. it's just computer A checking computer B
