I'm Surmuck; and I've been floating around the internet on various forums, games, and a whole array of other stuff for like three years. The really sad thing about that though is 3/4'ths of my MSN contacts I've met online. I have like 200, and only 1/4 of those I can probably say I have talked to in the last three months. By the way, I like to divide things into fourths. It's a thing.
Umm, I guess there's not a lot else to say; besides a plan to stick around here for a bit before the tumbleweed rolls on and I move onto something different. That's just kinda how I am.
**Ooh, I forgot. I was going to answer all those questions in the sticky. (I so read it. That's like 1 point for me)
* What is your history with RPG Maker and the RPG Maker Community?
I downloaded, and subsequently bought RPG maker about two weeks ago, even though my demo hadn't run out yet I knew right away I was going to end up wanting it later. Figured I might as well, for once in my life, not procrastinate.
* What is your field of expertise in RPG Maker?
I take great pride in my ability to map caves. I can't map anything else, but y'know I love a good cave. With bats. All RPG's have bats.
* How did you find the forums?
I was googling RMXP and this was the first result I think; and whenever I see a forum I am compelled to just start trawling topics, but I rarely join. I don't do communities I don't get committed to, alright? But eh, I had to post a topic because I wanted help - so I signed up and here I am. To stay, for a while I hope.
* What you hope to get out of the forum?
I hope to get to read a lot of intelligent posts, laugh a good thousand of times, and then leave when the time is right again.
* What kind of creative talents do you have (outside of RPG Maker)?
I'm a writer. No, I'm not going to put that 'up in the air' feeling on that phrase either. No "I want to be", or I like to write. Just plain, and I'd rather no one try to contest.
* What are your hobbies or interests?
Writing, listening to music, I love to travel, brain games, editing.
* What kind of music do you listen to?
Alternative, Indie, Anti-folk. Yeah, I was buying Kimya Dawson's albums before her music was in Juno, thanks.
* What level of education are you in? What are you studying in college?
I'd prefer not to say; and I'd rather no one press me for that info either. Not that I expect anyone to, but eh - you never know.
Whoo.
