Posting that story here was definitely risky I cant say I believe you or not... but there have been so many things I couldnt explain happen to me and my family that my whole mentality is "fuck it I dont care".

I believe in God, and as such I believe in all the spirits and hell thing, but I also believe in the power of mind, perhaps you were associating normal events to a predetermined experience.

I believe these "supernatural" phenomenas are just a creation of our minds, illusions. So many strange and freaky things happened to me but I always end up finding what caused them (shadows, weird sounds). If you're scared, the mind will instantly start playing you tricks and the illusions will show up.
A busy person or an unworried/calm person (like me) won't have these illusions as often as a superstitionist person because they don't care and don't pay attention to that kind of stuff.

@rpgfan_2007: You had those nightmares (or whatever) because you're religious and believe in that kind of stuff and you are serious about it, and you read that book of satan. The same thing that happens to a child that watches a horror movie.
Supersticious minds are very vulnerable to these "supernatural phenomenas", and even thought you never get an explanation, it certainly isn't something magical.

Having a vivid imagination helps. Whenever I see something macabre, I tend to start feeling more anxious for a little while. See things out of the corner of my eye and all that. It's all cerebral.

I always see things.
Little white shadow fog smoke dealies. Usually they aren't in the corner of my eye, it's not like something to double take over. Often it's just to the upper right of what I'm looking at.

I'm looking at the H key. At the "|\" key this little white shadow fog smoke dealie could pop up, whip across to F10 and disappear.
I could think it's ghostly, I could think it's paranormal.
Or I could think I need new glasses and/or a new eye exam.

Lol, you're my contrast! I'm always seeing shadows. Totally serious. I'm always seeing shadows move in my peripheral vision, and sometimes in plain sight :'S

Yeah, often when I just had a dream that made me jump, or one in which I was somehow falling or flying. It's also liked to something like sleep paralysis, where the explanation is the sudden gain of feeling of the bed makes you think you were somehow floating.

Like when your groggy and you start walking your feet don't hit the ground right because your too tired and your sensory and feeling is all askew.

Yea, I've been relaxing, almost asleep, or sleeping, and coming out of it.

All of the sudden I feel this urge to grab onto something, so I fumble around, and grab my covers.

Creepy as hell, worse then sleep paralysis, at least then you have a visual, with this... theres nothing.

Once, I closed a door in the house, and I could hear this breathing from inside, I checked in there and there was no-one in there and then the breathing was behind. I jumped down a 2 7-sets to get away.

I hear it everytime I close that door.

I have a scientific explanation for it though, although...
It's the wind whistling through the bathroom door and under the bedroom crack.
It wouldn't explain why it 'breathes' or why it works when the window is closed.
It also happens when I think of the 007 movie 'Never Say Never Again'.

Also, I hear strange tapping noises.

And often when I try to Telekinetically move an object (to no avail) I come back and it's moved to where I want it to go.

@Guy who started topic: That happens if you pray to Satan while being a Christian. I took precautions and converted before trying that.

The last month I've dreamed about things at night which happened the following days. The first time I dreamed I knocked over a bucket in my hall and water went over the floor, the next morning, that bucket tipped as I walked by it. Then last night I dreamed I had blue all over my hands, today a pen burst in my pocket, and as I checked it out my hand got covered in blue ink. Coincedance? Likely. I actually tried some Psi stuff a few weeks back that I found on the net, like making psyballs and trancing. The trancing hasn't worked yet, but the effects I heard about like lucid dreaming and OBE's sounded cool.

Well, it might be pure coincidence, but at late night (1am+) when my neighboor's dogs (that wolf like race, I don't remember the name now) howl for some minutes, the next day, somebody has died of something. Sure I don't know who that is, but my mom knows by checking these papers or something. If I happen to be awake when they howl, it freaks the fuck out of me.
