Act I
Two Castles, a princess, and a koopa king
In the Mushroom Kingdom, where we set our scene
A love which transcends species, an obsession owned by one
A courtship shared by many, to the princess who shined as if the sun
In the eighth world of eight, in the last of thirty two
Sits a giant koopa in a castle, and thus is his debut
Abaft him sits a crimson axe, below him lava flows
He looks towards the silver walls, fire spewing from his nose.
His spies, small goombas, return from his love?s castle
And with them the bring news, from her most trusted vassal
A common man loves the princess, and it is she who returns his gaze
And thus Bowser roars, his bellow deep and his soul ablaze:
?WHO IS THIS MAN OF WHOM YOU SPEAK, OF WHOM MY LOVE ADORES??
?This man is plumber known as Mario and it is red clothes which he wore!?
?A PLUMBER!? A COMMONER!? ONE OF THE LOWEST CLASS!??
?HOW IS IT SHE CAN LOVE HIM SO? BAH, I AM AGHAST!?
And thus a plan was set in motion, a plan most complex and most foul
The princess would be kidnapped, and thus the trap would be set; Bowser howled,
?HE WILL TRY TO SAVE HER! THIS PLUMBER DONNED IN RED!?
?BAH!!!?
?HE SHALL BE DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAD!?

Act II
At the dawn succeeding a late-summer night,
The princess was taken and thus began her plight
Trapped in the coldness, the silver stoned prison
She could only hope and pray, for her, by Mario, to be risen.
The crimson clothed plumber discovered her capture,
And promptly set out, for it was her he would enrapture.
With only his mighty jump and the occasional mushroom,
He defeated the goombas, the koopas, and the plants which pipes bloomed.
And to a dungeon-like castle, the plumber was led
Cursed with traps, and lava and the immortal undead.
Thusly, he came face to face with the giant koopa, and without hesitation?
He attacked, and attacked, but alas?it was a mere imitation!
Although a simple fake, it moved with great strength!
And when it did jump, he ran under its length!
Using the axe, the great koopa fell to the flames abode.
However, what should appear next, but a simple toad.
Thus it became clear, seven toads and the princess must have been scattered,
Thus Mario wept, his spirit slightly shattered.
?Curse you, o?fates, for giving me this burden, this hassle!?
?MAMA MIA!?
?THE PRINCESS? IS IN, ANOTHER CASTLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!?
to be continued
