That is so lame. It's fine to have genre preferences, and everything, but automatically assuming every game in any one genre is good is... well, it's pretty damn stupid. Especially with a genre so wrought with generic shit as Role-playing games. :\

i didn't mean it like that, I simply meant that I'll give most RPG games a try, I tend to find a few of them awful. I know alot of people think they're repetitive. I just don't want to hear it in every reply, THAT'S annoying. I take back virtually everything on the previous post. =P  You guys are absolutely right, and it's okay for people to have their own opinion. I just feel like they're calling me stupid for liking them. >>

Also Marcus is a pretty knowledgable RPG guy, so Id take what he says pretty well.

And Ar Tonelico happens to be a marvelous game, with a rich, deep STORYLINE AND GAMEPLAY.

After reading this, I don't want to ever see anyone accuse me of being a Japfag ever again.

Ar Tonelico was one massive ball of innuendo thrown into a game that only semi makes sense.  Or at least, as much sense as most Japanese RPGs can be.  Other than that, it was the same crap that most RPGs have dissolved into nowadays, only with the added bonus that little tweens can get their jollies off on the suggestive dialog.

As for the new Summon Night, it'll probably be just as interesting as the previous two Summon Night games.  That is to say it'll be boring, dull, repetitive, and annoying, with only the pretty graphics to cling to in hope that there's an actual story somewhere in this mess.

I agree with this as well, i didn't expect any of this to happen =S... It's a shame, from what people are telling me, I might look for a different game... I was looking forward to Summon Night, but it sounds like it's not a very good game.

Then again, there doesn't seem to be a lot to cover here, since it's pretty clear that the only dude who cares is the OP. :x
