Style Opinion?

Yes, it's my avatar. I thought I would put it in the post, just in case I change my avatar.

Basically, I'm wondering what your opinion is of this style?

I DO have Photoshop CS3, but I think I've grown some affection for MS-Paint art.

What is aesthetically displeasing about this picture? His hairstyle? The color choice? The general anime look?
I'll value some criticisms over others (I'm probably going to ignore your post if the color style "isn't your cup of tea", and you prefer traditional. <_<); but I would still like to see what people think.

(Not that it matters, but I find tablets to be more difficult to use than mouses. So I probably won't do any better with a tablet/stylus.)

Actually I like it! It's unique and I like how it's colourised!

It's also pretty acurate in lighting and pretty well detailed made with 3 colours!

Looks good with the one colour scheme, nice and simple. I'd like to see it coloured realistically though to see what you could do.

Monotone stuff is always cool, and you've done it well here. Although considering the lack of expression, ti would be nice if it was stylised a little to liven it up. Some of the lines could also do with a bit of anti-aliasing.

Aye, anti-aliasing with paint is something I've been working on perfecting. Although, the method CS3 uses to aa is simple enough to emulate with basic colors.

One thing, and this happens with all paint files, I don't like the pixellation, but what can you do?
