Welcome to the Stemix Academy.

Here you will learn to use the rare skill of Stemixing through several assignments and tutorials. There is no prize, nor competition. This is purely for those who want to get the most out of RPG Maker.

But what is Stemixing?
It is a style of art that was originally created by Stevo and then altered by me to fit my RPGs better. It allows for easy and fast creation of charsets, tilesets and other resources. However, this academy will mostly focus on the tileset and charset aspects of the skill.

An example of a tileset made with Stemixing can be found here and here. Note that in those screenshots the outlines of objects are highly visible. That can easily be changed in the process of making them. In fact, I will be dimming the outlines down for the duration of the Academy for those who do not want cartoon-ish RPGs.

The academy will consist of the following pattern:
Information - General Assignment - Tutorial - Advanced Assignment - Test

If you wish, you can submit the Test work to me for evaluation. By no means are you required to do so. However, it would increase your Stemix skill and it's free feedback.
